When these type of accidents happen it is often the company at fault. This is because they either did not spend enough time to find someone to maintain the rig or they did not find someone who was qualified satisfactory to a higher standard. In this case the rig was not maintained well and with one wrong move it caused the BP oil spill. Resources might have been scarce because this company does not foresee issues like this happening. Remember always look at all the options before you decide on one.

- Solution 1 can solve the problem because the person that is hired will maintain the rig better, but also would letter you know if they need more of something. Such as supplies or money.
- Solution 2 - Have more money set aside for maintenance.
- Solution 2 can solve only half of the problem, you receive more money. Although that does not mean better work.
- Solution 3 - Get someone under qualified to maintain the rig, and do not give much money for the maintenance.
- Solution 3 can not solve the problem, and could make it worse. Doing this option can lead to destruction, and savvier money loss.
